Embark

Sunbeam Hall
Solo show on board the King Harry Ferry, Cornwall

These are probably the last studies of boats at Sunbeam Hall boathouse, Falmouth Wharves. The last remaining deep water working wharves left in Falmouth outside the docks, but are scheduled for demolition and housing development. The boat builders and artists working there are part of a community group who oppose demolition of the historic site. The exhibition juxtaposes paintings of out of season boats in the setting of the busy river Fal, giving a glimpse of Wharves life which may soon disappear.
